Our Picture of The Week Project for 2011 stalled at week 34. The previous 2 years we have done the Picture a Day projects and wanted something less intense for 2011. A picture a week should have been easy after doing one a day but in truth you quickly lose the discipline of shooting daily and somehow it seemed even harder. We apologise for our failure but we had fun trying. Our end picture in this 2011 project is a view of the Golden Isles taken from the coast between Gigaro beach and Cap Lardier in the south of France. This photo was taken on Peanut's birthday which coincidentally also happens to be the birthday of Jesus. We were lucky to have a week in the south of France to celebrate the two events.
Happy Photographing!

The 4th September 1921 was the date of the first Gran Premio d'Italia at the Montichiari course in the Northern Italian town of Brescia.
Although the French driver Louis Wagner took pole position on the starting grid it was his compatriot Jules Goux who won the 30 lap race (Wagner finished 3rd) in a time of 3 hours, 35 minutes and 9 seconds.
The C70IT is dressed in the Italian racing colours Rosso Corsa (race red) which legendary Italian racing car marques such as Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Ferrari made famous.
The C70 Rosso Corsa is limited to an edition of only 500 pieces worldwide, arrives with a personally signed Certificate of Authenticity from Christopher Ward, and is presented in a superb bespoke deluxe presentation case.
