Project 365 Montage Celebration of 365

Posted by Adrian Ainsworth on January 5, 2011 at 11:32 PM Comments comments (50)

We have made a Mosaic out of one of our favourite photographs from our 2010 365 Project to celebrate the completion of the 2010 year of 365 photographs. This image uses every picture, all 365 images for the 365 project. Most images we have used more than once so that in total there are approximately 1600 separate images used to create the mosaic, so we hope you enjoy the result - it is weel worth clicking the image to view large and even full size!

Day 365/365 Just The Two of Us

31/12/2010. The last day of 2010 and the final photograph in our 365 Project. A glass of bubbly each to celebrate completing the second year of our project and to wave goodbye to 2010!

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing if you have ever stopped by to take a look at our pictures then have a drink with us and we wish you health, happiness and prosperity for 2011!

Groovy word of the day: contemplation

365 Groovy words for 2010

Each day in 2010 we took a photograph for our Project 365 and each day we accompanied the photographs with a "Groovy word" for the day. Each word would connect to the picture and the more tenuous the connection the more fun we had. It gave us simply hours of fun thinking up our groovy words, some we liked for their meaning, some for their sound, some simply for the way the word would roll off your tongue.

In truth there are just 364 Groovy words because on the 6th December our beautiful Murray cat died and quite simply there was no groovy word in existence for that sad day!

Take a minute and enjoy our Groovy words with us! :)

Day 364/365 ClubBeast Returns

30/12/2010. We had a bit of a saga when we had the brake pads changed on the ClubBeast. The garage managed to skid into a kerb so we had a new alloy and a new wheel bearing as well. Hmmm will have to tidy up the other alloys more now to match the new one! Good as new now though and good to have him back in the stable.

Day 363/365 The Colour Red

29/12/2010. The Big thaw means a wet car but at least we can drive it without sliding all over the show.

Day 362/365 Yuletide Log

28/12/2010. I made this Yuletide Log in Woodwork class when I was about 10. I think it's great that Mum brings it out every Christmas as part of the decorations. That's some 40 Christmasses that the old log has done us proud!

Groovy word of the day: yule

Day 361/365 Mum's Village

27/12/2010. Every year this village comes out at Christmas to adorn my Mum's fireplace. She is very proud of her village and insisted we took a photograph of it!
