The Opel and the MINIs

The charming harbour of Port Cogolin is just next door to the renowned "cite lacustre" of Port Grimaud and approximately 5 kms from St. Tropez . It is ideally positioned in the heart of the St. Tropez peninsula with its wonderful beaches. St. Tropez and its attractive harbour with its authentically preserved old town and its tempting restaurants to suit all pockets and meandering medieval streets is only a few kilometres away . The provencal hillside villages of Ramatuelle, Grimaud, Cogolin, la Garde Freinet, Gassin , Plan de la Tour, Bormes les Mimosas and Collobrieres are also close.

 The famous vineyards of the Presqu'ile St. Tropez are just nearby in the hinterland and there is a "Maisons de Vignerons" where you can taste and buy all the local red, white and rose wines almost on your doorstep! The resorts of Ste Maxime, St. Raphael, Cannes and Antibes are an easy drive away along the coast following the indented creeks of the red Esterel Mountain range offering spectacular views. Similarly, the glamour of Nice and Monte Carlo are a day trip away. There are also several sea excursions from Port Grimaud and St. Tropez.

Additionally, there are two 18 hole golf courses, mini golf, tennis, horse-riding and a sailing club with lessons for all levels nearby.
